H.E.E.T Tour Documentaries - Calvin Waquan

During the summer of 2025, the Home Energy Experience Tour (HEET) visited 16 Indigenous communities to host workshops on home energy efficiency and sustainable building practices. This production covered four of those stops, documenting the journey from on-site interviews through to the final series edit.

Among the locations documented was Fort Chipewyan, a community on the shores of Lake Athabasca accessible only by plane or boat in the summer and ice road in the winter. The resulting film follows Calvin Waquan, providing a look at his life and the work he has contributed to his community as part of the broader series.
